After analysing the effective production time, factoring in the Pick and Place speed, the printer programming time, dispensing system and oven production time, it is clear that setup time of small/mid volume productions has a large influence. A Management Information System can drastically reduce this time and greatly increase production efficiency. Such software systems are already known worldwide for large production systems, but until now, the high investment costs to develop such software made it impossible for small to mid size volumes to include this option. For the first time ESSEMTEC offers such a system. Due to its modular structure it is an optimal additional tool.
