The project and component management software MIS-DATA enhances the basic Bar-Code setup. It offers the operator a comprehensive databank with projects, components and production data and optimises the operational procedure for an SMT Production. Combined with the MIS-BAR Bar-Code reader system, time savings are greatly increased and Pick and Place errors are significantly reduced. Costs can therefore be substantially reduced and the machine is utilised more effeciently.

The MIS-DATA software provides a collection points for different projects and can be used to give an overview showing required component numbers. The inventory control checks whether one or more projects can be completed from the current inventory status. Components can be organised directly on the machine or at a defined feeder area providing a quick inventory overiew. A low inventory warning alarms the operator before a critical component level is reached, allowing feeder reloading without halting production. An optional setup check forces a check of the loaded components before production.
