The combined loading/unloading station makes the automation of PCB Loading/unloading possible for Production Lines, Pick and Place automation, Printer or Dispenser automation where the loading and unloading has to be done from / to the same rack.

Details

The combination module provides PCB loading and unloading for a production system while utilising a minimal surface area. The system can for example be used in conjunction with the SP500 fully automatic printer so that a complete set of PCB’s can be automatically printed. The loading/unloading module forwards the unprinted PCB into the printer. The printer then loads the PCB and makes any corrections before printing the PCB. After printing the handling module removes the PCB back into the rack, and the next PCB can then be forwarded into the printer. The complete rack with printed PCB’s can then be loaded into a production line. With this setup a printer can be used to economically provide automation for more than one production line. The same unit can be used with the FLX pick and place systems and ensures a highly flexible automation solution.
