Essemtec will exhibit highly flexible SMT production equipment at the upcoming Electronics Next India 2010 in New Delhi. The machines are specially well suited for the use in schools, laboratory, universities and in product development, for prototyping and small batch manufacturing.

Pantera-XV is a highly flexible SMD pick and place machine designed for prototyping or midsize batch manufacturing. It places 0201 chips up to 50x50 mm QFPs and features optical laser and vision alignment tools. The machine offers a large feeder capacity and provides intelligent feeders for quick changeover. The barcode-based feeder setup control system avoids wrong component setups, an important feature for sensitive industries such as medical or aerospace.
The SP150 semi-automatic printer is very easy to setup and operate. However, it offers many features that ensure a high printing quality level. One of them is the integrated vision system that verifies automatically the correct alignment of stencil and substrate and only starts the printing process when the alignment is within the tolerances. The printer also offers an integrated stencil cleating system and other features that make this machine highly flexible but also highly reliable.
The RO06 is a table-top semi-automatic reflow and curing oven. Due to an integrated microprocessor unit and a precise temperature control it can flexibly be programmed for different soldering or curing tasks. With the motorized drawer, the RO06 can fully automatically process single substrates.
