Essemtec France sarl. launched on January 3, 2011

Essemtec, the Swiss manufacturer of production systems, strengthens its presence in France. Beginning January 3rd, 2011, Essemtec France sarl. replaces Prodelectronic, the company’s current representative. George Bouvier is the business manager of Essemtec's latest daughter company.

Starting January 3rd, Essemtec France sarl. will be responsible for the French market and Essemtec's complete product range. Peter Müller, Area Sales Manager at Essemtec, said that until now the collaboration with an external representative has been advantageous but that new products have changed the situation.

The new pick-and-place machines Paraquda and Cobra as well as the new Tucano stencil printer were in internal competition with other brands that the representative was selling. Essemtec France now can directly offer Essemtec's full product range ― printers, dispensers, pick-and-place machines, ovens, storage systems, handling systems, software and process know-how ― all from one source.

George Bouvier takes over the management of Essemtec France sarl. He knows the market and has been involved in electronics assembly technology for more than 20 years. Additionally, he has collaborated with Essemtec for nearly 10 years. Technical support currently is provided from Essemtec headquarters, and the service organization for France is being built-up.
