The Management Information System FLX-MIS is a machine oriented software package for production optimization and cost reduction. It features a real-time database for traceability and stock management which can be linked with existing planning systems.

All MIS functions together collect and compute all information in context with the component placement process. A basic and central element is the clear identification of the used material. FLX-MIS is optimized for the FLXSeries pick & place machines. However, it offers open interfaces for the data exchange with ERP and storage systems. Integration into an existing network can easily be realized.
Modularity
FLX-MIS is a structured module designed to fulfill specific requirements or to implement the complete system step by step. A detailed module description can be found in the "MIS Product Note" available from Essemtec.
FLX2011
The modules of the MIS software can be installed online (on the machine's PC) or offline (on a separate PC).Essemtec strongly recommends the offline installation.

Advantages online: No additional PC required
FLX2021/2031
For the FLX2021 and FLX2031 pick & place machines, only complete packages (FLX20x1-OFF-MIS) are available in order to guarantee the optimum productivity of these systems.
