Intuitive operation, highly flexible and fast

The Paraquda defines a new standard of highly flexible SMD pick and place machines. Drive technology, materials, vision system and software have been developed especially for this machine and are trend-setting. The Paraquda combines four machines in one: A chip placer, a finepitch placer, an odd-shape component placer and a dispensing machine.

The fly-by vision allows all four components to be measured and verified simultaneously. Several flashlight levels, each of them individually programmable, provide optimum lighting for the vision system. The high-resolution 2 mega pixel camera in combination with high-performance hardware using Cognex SMD 4 technologies provides fast and reliable image processing.

 
 The new ePlace software is directly controlled via a 19" wide ergonomic touch screen. The screen can be adjusted vertically and angled into a position that is most convenient for the user. ePlace also supports users with unlimited zooming functionality and optimizes views for the scrolling and clicking.

 
 New materials with advanced damping properties, modern drive technologies and a real-time position control enable high production speeds and head acceleration with very high accuracy.

Integrated quality management

The integrated quality management system avoids setup and placement errors. Feeders are programmed in a fast and secure way using bar code readers. The optional CVU (component verification unit) checks the electrical values of components before placement. 

Setup cost minimzation

The Paraquda can generate significant savings in setup costs. Due to the high feeder capacity less feeder changeover is required. The changeover time is nearly zero because the intelligent feeders can be exchanged during operation.   

High productivity

The Paraquda features a new H-Drive system with real-time position tracking with a resolution in the microns. The trajectory of the head can be optimized simultaneously in all axes. Therefore, travel path is minimized and productivity is maximized.
